Scene Presets
In some cases, you may want the same scene to have multiple settings. For example, you may want "Forest by day", and "Forest by night". It's the same forest, but at night you turn off the birds and turn on the campfire and crickets. That is exactly what presets are for.
A preset is like a snapshot of the scene. When you create a preset, it records the following:
- For ambience cards, it records the volume, the repeat settings, and whether or not it's enabled.
- For music cards, it records the volume and whether or not it's looping.
To create a preset, simply set the scene how you like it, and click "Save Preset":
You'll be able to give it a name and an icon for easy reference later.
After that, if you ever want to switch to that preset, you can just click on it:
Please take into account: A preset is very much like a photograph of your scene. If you add new sounds to the scene, or move cards around, the preset will ignore them completely. You can tell which cards will be affected by a preset by hovering over the preset. The cards affected will be subtly highlighted:

If you ever want to update the preset with the current contents of the scene (re-take that photograph, as it were), you can click on the "Update" button:
Please note: The update and delete buttons will only be shown when the scene is expanded.
When the scene is collapsed, we assume you're playing the game, and we don't want you to delete a preset by accident!
